I liked the Dominators, but I love this. I did have a Dominator and considered doing something similar (but way less professional)but I sold it to buy a van and somehow ended up with an R65LS.
For the fastest XL500 you ever saw check out www.sand-race.co.uk and look in the pictures section for number 51. He gets that thing first into turn one 4 out of five times (and first out of turn two nine out of ten times). I have seen him beaten, but very rarely. And people have tried pretty much every kind of road bike you could think of.
Hi Amazing bikes! I've been following, and admiring your blogs for yonks. I've just picked up an xl 500s, and want to create something these lines. where did you get the spokes to go from 23" to 21"? I am heading to UK for a bike ride to Kazakhstan and back next march, if I end up in Wales and you're thirsty, let me know. Cheers Tom
